In my opinion, Prohost is as good as it gets for relative information on the best biotech stocks, but in terms of picking what is hot, you must look at the various market sectors daily to see what is "in vogue" at the time. For example, right now banks and petroleum are very active and hot. Every sector goes through phases of hot and cold. Following the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 daily helps identify what the market timing is. Timing is everything in the market. I invest in biotech, but stick to the philosophy of buying stocks that go up in price and have good value. Right now for example, I feel GZMO is one biotech with good value and is underpriced. It is only underpriced because this sector is not hot right now. I would use this time to accumulate good valued biotechs and be patient for them to have there day. We are in a big bear market now and it is not easy to find hot stocks consistently. a good measure of an upturn in the market is when you see two straight weeks of rises in the S&P 500 index without a downturn. This signals a good uptrending market and then I feel we'll see biotechs come into vogue. Right now even the Biotech mutual funds are extremely varied in their growth so even the pros can't pick 'em all the time.
